HP TGT Arts Commission 2024 will be contract-based. They include 744 positions for HP TGT Arts 557 for TGT Non-Medical, and 286 for TGT Medical. During the previous legislative session, the Education Minister disclosed that 16,468 TGT positions were sanctioned in schools, out of which 781 are currently vacant.
After obtaining approval from the government, advertisements for these positions will be issued through the HPRCA. HP TGT Recruitment 2024 will be based on 75% direct (37.5% through HPRCA on regular basis or on contract basis & 37.5% through batch-wise) and 25% Promotion recruitment.

According to the new pattern of the exams decided by commission, exam will be conducted in the two stages i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2.
Paper 1
Computer based test (CBT) or offline screening test of one hour duration 100 marks as follow :

HP TGT Arts Eligibility Criteria 2024
To apply for the post of HP TGT Arts Recruitment 2024 under HPRCA, it is necessary to meet the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit, which are given below.
- Education Qualification – As per R&P Rules TGT (Arts)
B.A/ B.Com/Post Graduation (M.A/M.Com) with at least 50 % marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation and 1- year
and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed)
Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/2 ears Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
OR
Post Graduation (M.A/M.Com) with a minimum 55 % marks and 3- year integrated B.Ed. – M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks
or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 °A marks and 4 year B.A.Ed.
OR
B.A/B.Com with at least 50 % marks and 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Special Education.
AND
Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) duly conducted by H.P. Board of school Education Dharamshala, Distt. Kangra or any other Agency authorised by the Government. - Age Limit – To be appointed to the post of HP TGT Arts the age of a candidate should be minimum 18 and maximum 45 years, if the candidate comes in SC/ST or OBC category then in this case they get an upper age relaxation of two years.

Aspirants willing to be appointed to the post of HP TGT Arts are notified here that for applying online, every candidate has to pay an amount of ₹300 online, whereas if the candidate belongs to OBC or SC/ST, then he or she has to pay only ₹150 using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI.
